Drive Through Christmas Lights

We missed you all during our (canceled) holiday tours this year, but there’s still a way for you to enjoy the beauty of Allandale this season!

During the month of December, you can drive through from sunset to 11:00 pm and enjoy our Christmas lights. Expanded for the 2020 season, our outdoor decor is sure to put a smile on your face! Our gift to you, there is no charge for driving through looking at the lights.

***IMPORTANT NOTE: For safety, guests will need to remain in their vehicles at all times for our drive-through light display. ***

2020 Christmas Tours

We regret to announce that due to COVID-19, the annual Allandale Christmas Tours have been canceled.
However, we will be decorating the outside of the Mansion and other areas around the grounds – stay tuned for details!

At the recommendation of the CDC and the Sullivan County Regional Health Department, the City of Kingsport will close the Civic Auditorium, Allandale Mansion, Lynn View Community Center, V.O. Dobbins, Sr. Complex, Brickyard Park, Eastman Park at Horse Creek, Lynn View Athletic Fields, and Domtar Park, effective 5 p.m. on Thursday March 19, 2020, until further notice. All associated rentals of these facilities, classes, programs and events managed through Kingsport Parks and Recreation are also suspended indefinitely. At this time, community parks and trails are open to the public dawn to dark.
Parks and Recreation staff are available by email and phone.
This information is subject to change as the city continues to monitor the evolving situation surrounding COVID-19. Kingsport looks to the SCHRD and the CDC for recommendations and additional information.

As of today, March 16, all *city-sponsored* programs, classes and events at Allandale Mansion are suspended until further notice.

At this time, the facility itself will remain open. This is subject to change as the city receives further recommendations from the Sullivan County Regional Health Department and the CDC.

Holiday Hours

Allandale Mansion will be CLOSED on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (December 24-25, 2019).

We will also be closed on New Year’s Day (January 1, 2020).
