Friends of Allandale
The Friends of Allandale was formed in 1989 by a group of citizens dedicated to supporting ongoing improvements at Allandale Mansion. Their focus was on enhancing the beauty of this local landmark while ensuring its lasting presence as a distinctive venue for special events in the greater Kingsport area.
Since then, this family of Friends has continued to grow while contributing over $550,000 of improvements to the interior, the exterior, and the grounds of Allandale Mansion. Many friends contribute the gift of their time for events and other projects, as well as lending their individual expertise in a variety of areas such as decorating, furniture placement and restoration, and exterior improvements.
