Make the most of your Times News Bubble Cam experience by familiarizing yourself with this brief key. The first thing you'll notice when you're inside a Times News Bubble is that your cursor becomes a hand icon. To move inside the bubble, HOLD DOWN your left mouse button and point the hand icon in the direction you wish to move. Hint: The hand icon drives the bubble slowly if held near the center of the image. The closer the hand gets to the edge of the image, the faster the bubble moves. The magnifying glass with the plus symbol appears when the cursor is slightly above the center of the Times News Bubble Cam. When you see this icon, HOLD DOWN your mouse button to zoom closer into the picture. The magnifying glass with the minus symbol appears when the cursor is slightly below the center of the bubble. When you see this icon, HOLD DOWN your mouse button to zoom further out of the panorama. TROUBLESHOOTING: If you're having trouble with the Bubble Cam shots, please review our list of reported errors and solutions below. If you are still having a problem accessing the panoramic files, please contact the Site Administrator. HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PLUG IN BUT STILL NO BUBBLE There are two things to check here. First make sure that after the plug-in is downloaded that you quit your browser, run the install program for the IPIX plugin and restart your browser. Your browser will load the plug-in at launch. Many times, your selected browser needs to have more memory assigned to it to launch the bubble cam shot. If all else fails and you come to this point you may need to consult your owners manual to increase the amount of memory assigned to your individual browser. Increasing the memory should give your browser more resources to run the new IPIX plug-in.
